Review

If you read the title, you might get a feeling that the book will be adrenaline-high. But that is not the case. From that aspect, Fire & Heist is very simple. Meant for readers younger than YA, I feel.
But the conceptualisation is commendable, even after reading a tome of fantasy novels, this concept of wyverns/were-dragons was new to me. So this book stood out from that aspect.

Loved the plot and the execution. I had not read the blurb before reading the book so I was fascinated and hooked. The mix of fantasy land in the real world and then the new world build-up was enjoyable.

The pace is dynamic so the 300 pages will seem short, in my opinion. The characterizations were quite impressive. I quite enjoyed the antics of the protagonist.

An entertaining weekend YA read, best enjoyed when seeking a break from mundane school week.
