You probably know someone like Shay Miller. She wants to find love, but it eludes her. She wants to be fulfilled, but her job is a dead end. She wants to belong, but her life is becoming increasingly isolated.

You probably don’t know anyone like the Moore sisters. They have an unbreakable circle of friends. They live a life of glamour and perfection. They always get what they desire.

Shay thinks she wants their life.

But what they really want is hers.

Review

The dynamic author duo blew my mind for the second time.

I am in awe of what they write, the atmosphere of dread and anticipation they create, the characters they sketch. The femme fatale in their stories reminds you that women can also be destructive, ones to be feared. You are not alone has more than one femme fatale.

Psychological thrillers like You are not alone makes you realise how twisted human minds can be. The way the antagonists of this book think was so mind boggling to me. They are dangerously righteous. Here being righteous is also dangerous.

The story has been structured and written so intricately that I could not put down until the very end. I could not for once guess what is going to happen next.

The premise of a suicide in a metro station, a bystander who cannot seem to get over it and in turn is trapped in a conspiracy that endangers her life – sounds quite simple but it is actually so mind numbingly complicated and twisted, will give you a roller coaster ride.

Hats off to the authors for yet another blockbuster of a book.

My Rating : 4.3 /5 🌟

P. S. I had received a digital review copy of this book through NetGalley. Thank you Pan Macmillan.
