REVIEW
I really liked the concept of bone magic in The Bone Charmer series. Controlling nature through nature. But the magic seemed too constricted or too dependent on the presence of dead bones. That’s a huge limitation the protagonist had.
The characterisation is brilliant. Layered, not superficial. The growth of the protagonist is the most invigorating. We see remarkable evolution in Saskia through The Bone Charmer and The Bone Thief.
The suspense and the action factors of the book will force you to keep reading, it is so engaging.
