Review

I loved the cover, is beautiful and is as futuristic as the story. Next I admire the setting – the 26th century Earth, the imaginations that the author used is admirable.

Among the characters in spotlight I liked the Clockmaster because of the sheer mystery that’s yet to be revealed. Astra is enjoyable for her antics and for her zeal to do something even though she can’t read. I want to see how she overcomes this obstacle to bring about a revolution. I felt sad about Felix, how the system had made him a mere fighting, killing machine rather than being a human.

It’s fascinating and appalling to see the future Earth. Fascinating because of the level of technology, that humans even managed to reach Mercury (now I want to know how) and appalling because the animals are extinct and the humans don’t even have interpersonal interactions, their homes don’t even have windows!
